This iconic 2-day event is all about celebrating the diversity in our community through sharing cultural cuisine, art, song, dance, rhythm, games and more.
It starts with a multicultural carnival and parade on Friday 21 February 6pm-930pm, followed by the World Food, Craft & Music Fair on Saturday 22 February 10am - 4pm and Teas and coffees from around the world at Caccia Birch Sunday 23 February 2-5pm
The weekend's festivities will burst into life with our Multicultural Carnival and Parade. The parade will celebrate global cultures as cultural groups proudly walk around Te Marae o Hine - The Square dressed in traditional costumes, showcasing music, dance and other creative expressions of their heritage. The parade kicks off around 8:30 PM, setting the stage for an electrifying street party in Te Marae o Hine - The Square! Get ready to dance the night away as a DJ spins global hits, turning the main stage into the ultimate celebration zone! It will culminate with a grand celebration on the main stage, bringing everyone together for an evening of lively performances and festivities.
