Fitzherbert, River and Awapuni Loop Walk

The Fitzherbert, River and Awapuni Loop Walk is a 12km walk hosted by Manawatu Trail Walkers starts at Centennial Drive by Fitzherbert Bridge at 8.00 am.

The walk goes south along the Manawatu River bank beside the Esplanade under the He Ara Kotahi pedestrain Bridage continuing along Ahimate Park around the Awapuni Racecourse, and Totaranui Park and up to Rangitane Park and back through Paneiri Park and back to the Esplanade.

The walk is flat and walkers must have the ability to walk for two hours at an average walking pace.
Dogs are allowed.

Walk starts at 8.00 am Centenial Drive by Fitzherbert Bridge, Sunday 9 March 2025.
Booking essential closes 5pm Saturday 8 March 2025.

Cost: $10 per head
Family with two children) $12.00.
