It's an inspiring, relatable showcase from some of Germany's most talented filmmakers.
This collection of short films was curated in collaboration with Kurzfilm Agentur Hamburg and is presented in partnership with the Goethe-Institut New Zealand.
The six German short films include:
- 'Wüstentier (Desert Critter)', an animation directed by Lina Walde
T-Rex, an animation directed by Julia Ocker
- 'Masel Tov Cocktail', a drama directed by Arkadij Khaet & Mickey Paatzsch
- 'Tako Tsubo', an animation directed by Fanny Sorgo & Eva Pedroza
- 'Berlin Matanoia', an absurd film directed by Erik Schmitt
- 'Muss Ja Nicht Sein, Dass Es Heute Ist (It Doesn't Have To Be Today)', a drama directed by Sophia Groening
