Gibbs Farm - Parent Aid North West Fundraiser

Join us for an unforgettable day at Gibbs Farm to raise funds for Parent Aid North West. The celebrated Gibbs Farm is an expansive open-air sculpture park located in the beautiful Kaipara Harbour, north of Auckland. The park boasts a series of major site-specific commissions. It is the greatest collection of large-scale outdoor sculptures in the country with works by some of the world’s most renowned artists.

A map book will be provided, and during the visit you will be free to roam the hills, enjoying the sculptures from both afar and right up close. You may even spot some truly exotic animals!

WHAT TO BRING

Comfortable walking shoes – the paved walk is 6-7 km long; however, you can choose to do as much or as little of this as you please

Camera – photography is allowed (no drones)

Sunscreen and hat

Food & water - there will be coffee and crepes available to purchase on site from Harcourts Coffee and Cone & Sweet As Crepes.

Raincoat – this event will go ahead rain or shine!

TRAVEL BY CAR: Entry to Gibbs Farm is via the BARR ROAD entrance.
Parking is free with your booking. One car park per booking please.

TERRAIN: The terrain is hilly and steep. A full circuit around Gibbs Farm is a 3-4 hour walk on both grass and the paved pathway. There are large ponds and lakes across the site and any children will need to be supervised. There are also various animals at several locations on the property.

TICKETS: Once issued, tickets will be non-transferrable.

Gibbs Farm is a private property open by appointment only. All visitors agree to the terms of access as outlined by Gibbs Farm. Please refer to the Visitor Terms of Access in the website links section of this event listing before attending this event.

There is no entry fee when visiting Gibbs Farm, the Trustees of Gibbs Farm have generously allowed us to arrange this event as an important fundraiser to support Parent Aid North West, and all ticket sales will come directly to us. We work to strengthen whanau in our community by providing free practical home support during challenging and vulnerable times.
