Following their highly acclaimed tours in 2023 and 2024, the versatile quartet comprising of Cathy irons (violin), Dan Robertson (piano), Dougal Canard (double bass, guitar) and Doug Brush (drums) are all set to delight Christchurch audiences again.
Inspired by the brilliance and versatility of the violin, the ensemble will perform music from ancient melodies to pulsating Gypsy tunes, through lively folk numbers across to the syncopated rhythms of Brazil, interspersed with popular swing, blues and ballads by George Shearing, Johnny Mercer, Keith Jarrett and others.
This event is part of our 2025 Great Hall Lunchtime Concerts at The Arts Centre.
