Great New Zealand Quilt Show 2025

The Great New Zealand Quilt Show is the premier quilting event in New Zealand and is held once every two years. The show features quilts made by Aotearoa Quilters members which are judged and awards presented. Many of the quilt makers have won awards overseas, as well as at past Great New Zealand Quilt Shows. As well as having over 150 quilts in the exhibition, 19 merchants are also coming to the show. In 2025 we will also be exhibiting award winning quilts from Carrefour – The European Quilt Show. The theme for these quilts is “Oceans” and the quilts have been made by quiltmakers from across the world.
The previous three shows have been held in Rotorua. The 2025 show is being held in Christchurch, and this is the first time the show has been held in the city.
