Americana and Country music band Harvest Moon feature a dazzling array of instruments including pedal steel, mandolin, guitars, banjo, accordion, and dobro, playing a diverse collection of classics from legends like Johnny Cash, John Prine, Dwight Yoakam, and Neil Young. The Wellington-based band’s front-man, lead vocalist Rob Reid provides a powerful and smooth singing style. Founding member & multi instrumentalist Garrett Evans plays pedal steel, dobro, guitars and sings vocals too. Dave Allen is Harvest Moon’s lead guitarist and banjo player - he also plays in Salty Hearts, and Hogsnort Bulldogs Goodtime Show. Another original member, Wayne Mills plays keys, accordion, bass and sings. A veteran of NZ’s vibrant 60s and 70s music scene, bassist Frits Stigter brings a wealth of experience and groove. On percussion - Robert Antonio is another well-known personality in the close-knit Wellington musical scene.
