Haven - Current Bias, Keepsakes B2B Mr Meaty Boy, Pentaloe

As the cold settles in and we retreat in to the warmth of our nests, Haven is here to tempt all you creatures and degenerates back out in to the wilderness with another cathartic stomp within the safety of the Galaxy Arcade. This time we are excited to invite queer sound designer, producer, DJ and all-round experimentalist Current Bias down from Pōneke for their first Ōtautahi club appearance since 2023 and following on from recent appearances at the likes of Two Minds Festival and Tāmaki’s infamous Nympho party. With a sound that has feet firmly planted in the realms of both experimental music and the club, Current Bias pushes contemporary dance music to its limits with releases on the likes of Related Articles and Racquet Club. Joining our out-of-town guest we are also pleased to invite Ōtautahi’s Pentaloe to the HAVEN booth for the first time - who as a visual artist, DJ, and part of Tender Buttons has been an important part of the new wave of queer creativity sweeping our city in recent years. Rounding out the line-up is a special b2b from Haven core crew Keepsakes and Mr. Meaty Boy - who will be revisiting the energy from their sets together last year to bring a hint of chaos to the arcade floor.
