Hologa Niue: New Zealand’s First Niue Cultural Festival
Proudly Presented by Three Star Nation
For the first time in history, all 13 villages of Niue will unite in New Zealand’s inaugural
Niue Cultural Festival—a groundbreaking celebration of Niue’s people, language, and
traditions.
Led by Three Star Nation (TSN)—a youth-driven Niue community organization
dedicated to reconnecting, inspiring, and empowering Niue youth and families—this
festival is not just a showcase; it’s a call to action. Through Hologa Niue, we aim to
revitalize Vagahau Niue (the Niue language) and Agafakamotu Niue (Niue culture),
ensuring they thrive for generations to come. This festival will serve as a powerful
platform to reconnect families and mobilize village communities to champion and
protect Agafakamotu Niue. Each village will pay homage to its classic songs and
traditions while also paving the way for new compositions and creations from the
emerging talents of their people, ensuring a vibrant future for Niue's cultural legacy.
Through powerful performances, music, dance, and storytelling, each village will share
its unique legacy, creating an immersive experience that links the past, present, and
future of Niue.
Special Feature: Witness a guest performance from Tokiofa, New Zealand’s first Niue
Performing Arts Academy, who made waves with their fiery debut during Niue Language
Week 2024—ushering in a bold new era for Niuean performing arts.
Be part of history. Celebrate, re-connect, and contribute to the future of Niue’s
culture. This is more than an event—it’s a movement.
