Insight Meditation, also known as Vipassana, is a meditation practice focused on developing deep mindfulness in our sensations, thoughts, emotions, and perceptions momentarily without judgment.
Developing a skilful mind helps reduce mental impurities and cognitive anxiety, and improves emotional balance, self-awareness, and understanding of others.

A step-by-step guide to Insight meditation, healthy body postures and a wholesome breath. Learn to understand sensations, feelings, thoughts, and emotions, and to know oneself through equanimity
and compassion.

Our Guest Teacher Simyu is a dedicated teacher and a mindful practitioner of insight meditation. A former Buddhist monk, he was the guiding teacher at GilsangSa temple and currently is establishing
an international meditation centre at Mount Sobek in Korea.

Over the years, he has explored various traditions, including Korean Zen, Tibetan Mahamudra, and Theravada Vipassana. He has spent countless hours in silent retreat, diving deep into the inner experience.

His teaching is practical and nonjudgmental. He guides students to cultivate mindfulness and insight through Attention rather than Intention.
