**Second concert added due to high demand! If you missed out on tickets for our Irish Airs & Graces concert on Friday 14th March, then now is your chance to book for our second concert on Monday 17 March and celebrate St Patrick's Day with us!**

Irish Airs & Graces is generously supported by L.T. McGuinness.

Celebrate St Patrick's Day with Irish Airs & Graces. Following sell-out performances in Wellington and Auckland, this captivating concert blurs the boundaries between traditional Irish music and contemporary classical sounds.

Featuring the remarkable talents of Irish composer and guitarist Dave Flynn, the New Zealand String Quartet (NZSQ), and guest traditional Irish musicians, the programme breathes new life into Ireland’s iconic melodies, blending them with the expressive power of the string quartet. The "airs" highlight Ireland's celebrated lyrical tunes, while the "graces" showcase the intricate ornamentation that defines its traditional music. This collaboration beautifully intertwines the timeless and the contemporary, in a toe-tapping tribute to Celtic musical traditions.

Renowned for their artistic versatility, NZSQ thrives in cross-genre collaborations, bringing energy and depth to Flynn’s inspired compositions. Joining the NZSQ and Dave Flynn, once again, are local Irish trad musicians, Em Griffiths on Irish fiddle and Duncan Davidson on accordion.

Whisky & Wood will have a tapas menu available and doors will open from 6:30pm on Friday 14th March and from 6pm on Monday 17th March, so make sure to arrive early and grab a drink or a bite to eat at the bar before the concert starts.

Whisky & Wood is located at Level 1, 60 Cambridge Terrace, above Sweet Axe Throwing. The space is wheelchair accessible. Under 18s need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Please get in touch if you have any questions about accessibility: nzsq@nzsq.org.nz

Dave Flynn's participation in this concert is generously supported by Culture Ireland.
