James Robinson - New and Recent Works

Intense, powerful paintings by James Robinson, one of New Zealand's most distinctive contemporary artists. He merges formal painting on canvas and paper, with found materials, often with confronting results - nails, hinges, shells, stones, and more, bring an intensity that makes his work an experience, often visceral, rather than simply an art encounter.
After the preview on 12 February, celebrated with fine Forrest Wines, the exhibition will be open Weds-Saturday 10am-4pm, Sundays on request, until 16 March 2025.
