Kaitoke Tamariki Ranger Day

Create whanaungatanga and unforgettable memories.

A day in the life of a Greater Wellington park ranger! This event for kids between the ages of 7-12 years old offers a day in Kaitoke Regional Park with our experienced park ranger.

Kids will complete a series of activities to earn their own Tamariki Ranger badge (an embroidered badge they can iron on to their jersey or hat etc). Prepare for guided walks, shelter building, fire safety, marshmallow toasting, eel feeding…. and more!

Kids will learn about how Greater Wellington’s park rangers care for nature and the community in Kaitoke.

This event is hosted in partnership with Everyone Out, and YSAR (Youth Search and Rescue).

Kaitoke Tamariki Ranger Day is limited to just 30 participants. A limit of two registrations per person.
