Live@Lopdell 'Dos Enemigos'

Live Music from the newly formed band 'DOS ENEMIGOS' Featuring Finn Scholes and Alistair Deverick (Carnivorous Plant Society) an evening of original live music, film, animations and story telling.

Finn Scholes has been playing trumpet and jazz keyboard professionally round Auckland and overseas for the past 10 years. He is the leader of the well known Auckland based band Carnivorous Plant Society. He has taught music in many high schools and institutions including Northcote College, ACG Parnell College and Henderson Intermediate.
Finn has also performed with many great acts, including Tiny Ruins, Batucada Sound Machine, Lawrence Arabia, Neil Finn, Gin Wigmore, Rodger Fox Big Band, Spoilers of Utopia, Avalanche City and Auckland Chamber Orchestra.

Alistair Deverick is a drummer and composer working out of the Lab Studios in Mount Eden, Auckland. As a drummer he performs with a diverse portfolio of acts including the Carnivorous Plant Society, Lawrence Arabia and Jol Mulholland. He spent much of 2010 and 2012 touring the world with The Ruby Suns and a large part of 2014 on a world tour with Neil Finn.
He has produced music for artists such as Aria, Chelsea Jade and Jack Panther as well as for his solo moniker “Boycrush”, which grew from an invitation to attend the prestigious Red Bull Music Academy in Madrid. He has been nominated for the Critic's Choice Award as well as Best Electronic Artist at the Aotearoa Music Awards.
