Love It Here Festival

Bring your loved ones and celebrate the newest public space in Whangārei, opening just in time for the first ever 'Love It Here Festival' on Valentine's Day.

We'll prepare a family-friendly scene: Cafler Park with food trucks, performances and market stalls from the late afternoon until sunset. And it's free? A perfect date!
(You could also come alone and keep your fingers crossed)

- Live music from Whangārei Youth Music, Opera North and more.
- Charming circus performances from Circus Kumarani.
- Marching displays from local Army and Air Force cadets
- A free photo-booth thanks to the Shutter Room Gallery
- 'Night Library' activities like a sensory room, board games and blind book-dates
- An evening group bike ride (bring your bike and decorate it!)
- Kid-friendly atmosphere

As your hosts, Whangarei District Council representatives and Advisory Groups will also be there to talk about your future in Whangarei.
