Mates Screen Printing T Shirts Workshop with Judith Ritchie

Description:
Ever been on a fishing/hunting trip and wished you and all your buddies could wear a great t shirt that shows what an epic time you had? Or climbed a huge mountain and thought, ‘wow wouldn’t that scene look amazing on a shirt’? How about when you and your mates play darts together, compete in a winter swim or a gruelling triathlon?

No longer will you need to hire a commercial company when you can design and print your own special manly moments and share with your mates. So put down that hammer, turn off your keyboard, get off that mountain bike, or whatever is stopping you from spending 2 days having fun creating your own statement about what you love doing.

Dig out some favourite old t shirts, (not too many holes please!) or grab a few new ones in colours you love; look through all those weekend photos you’ve got and I’ll teach you how to get them onto a screen and start printing your own bespoke t shirts!

Important Info
You can bring your own clean screen. These can be purchased online from CCG Industries. You will need to order a standard T-shirt size, 43T. Or, you can purchase one (or more) at the workshop for $50 plus $10 for the photographic emulsion and photocopying.

Bring any favourite t shirts, a piece of clothing, or maximum 1 mtr length of fabric that you’d like to print onto. There will be some water colour paper available for students who prefer to print onto paper, gift cards etc.

Important Information:
- You'll love being in Judith's quirky studio
in Golden Bay, surrounded by gardens, meandering ducks and lots of fruit trees…this tranquil venue is bound to influence and inspire your printed designs.
- These are small group workshops, book early to secure your place.
- 30 minutes for lunch; pls bring your own lunch. Tea and coffee provided.
