Pakuranga Presidents present an evening of Comedy for East Auckland.

After a one year hiatus , we're back again, the team are rolling out the Red Carpet for a fresh set of acts to bring some hilarity to East Auckland for one night only!

Our MC - Keegan Govind
Keegan Govind is a product of the New Zealand comedy scene. A high-energy act with the confidence and material to back it up, a constant crowd favorite at the Classic. A sure-fire fun time for any audience with him as MC, he uses comedic skill and energy to set the atmosphere for an unforgettable night of laughs.

Known for The Edge’s Quit Your Day Job and as host of Cassette 9’s Comedy Chamber he is also the star of the instagram series ‘#crowdtwerk’ which can be found at his instagram: @keegankardashiaNZ

Matt Coombe
Charismatic, fast-paced, and relentlessly upbeat, Matt Coombe brings an electrifying energy to every stage he graces. Known for his high-octane crowd work and infectious good-time vibes, Matt’s comedy feels like a train leaving the station—hop on, or get left behind!

With appearances on hit shows like *Seven Days*, *Newshub*, *Jono and Ben*, and Comedy Central's *Bouncers*, Matt has firmly established himself as a comedic force to be reckoned with.

Ben is widely recognised from his regular appearances on THREE's 7Days, The Project, and is now a regular contributor on TVNZ's Seven Sharp. He has had numerous other TV appearances with several Comedy Galas, AotearoHa, hosting After Hours, Funny Roots, @Seven, Ben & Steve World Famous In and most recently Patriot Brains.

2024 also sees Ben continue to fulfil a life goal of commentating cricket with the Alternative Commentary Collective, and chucking in a few thoughts about rugba league on the Mad Monday podcast. Of course, he'd rather be out in the middle, but this is a very close second. Like when they decide who wins by counting boundaries (never forget, never) Ben is proudly represented by Notorious Management Ltd.
