Through a diverse range of multimedia pieces, 3 talented local artists reflect upon the depth and importance of the questions above, and bring you their interpretation of what it means to be human.
“Pieces of Us” delves into the complexities of the human condition, examining identity, connections, and emotions that shape our very being. From large scale pieces, to intimate and highly detailed works, the artists invite you to look deep, take in their experiences, and maybe even find your own answers within.
Join us between 10-6pm, Tuesday to Saturday at The Gallery Tattoo for an opportunity to explore the unique and expressive stories each artist has to tell.

Brighid Jamieson
Brighid lives in Wellington with her small family and far too many houseplants. She has
loved art and the creative process ever since crayoning on the living room walls as a child...
A few years ago, she finally stopped torturing her kids with arty-farty activities, quit her 'real'
job, signed up to Art School, and let her inner child play.
A lot.
Spending time immersed in the messy world of charcoal, paint and clay, Brighid enjoys
getting lost down many a creative rabbit hole, falling in love with experimentation, discovery,
and the act of making. Through her often whimsical approach to art, she explores themes of
being in and of community, as well as being in and of nature.
Brighid has won an arts scholarship and her works have been sold in a number of New
Zealand galleries, art shows, and art auctions, as well as by commission. She would love to
help you brighten up your walls- Dull blank walls are sooo pre-covid!

Artist blurb - Lizzie Knighton
My name is Lizzie. I have created a world of expression called Manifest.
Born a creative person, I am devoting my life to improving the skills needed to portray the visuals in my head into something physical. I studied at The Learning Connexion where I spent my time in a world of creativity and immersed myself into refining and learning new skills.
I think we are floating orbs of feelings and soul—our bodies respond to shifts in those internal landscapes. The works I’ve displayed in this exhibition are interpretations of my soul’s response to music, and how it feels to my physical form. I hope when you see these physical works, you can absorb those feelings too.
