Printopia Festival - Opening Night

Join us for the Opening Night of Aotearoa’s annual, three-day celebration of contemporary print culture and community!

When: 2 May 2025, 5:30pm - 8pm
Where: Corban Estate Arts Centre, Henderson, Auckland

This year we have a very special event lined up for you on our Opening Night. Live and direct from the US, À la Poupée & the Chine-Collés, will serenade you with their print themed songs, such as "Pulling Up the Paper" and "The Work Up Blues" from their hit albums Artist Proof and The Foul Bite Sessions.

Gig posters for the band will be printed live on the night as a souvenir to take home with you.

You can also enjoy a glass of wine while you shop the Print Fair, featuring over 40 vendors selling original handmade prints. You can meet print artists from across the country as well as some special international artists from Australia, The Philippines and the States.

Start or exand your print collection! Prints are an affordable way to collect art and beautify your walls. Meet the artists, learn about their process and come back on Saturday and Sunday to have a go yourself at one of our live printing drop-in sessions and workshops.
