Printopia Festival Print Fair

PRINTOPIA FESTIVAL OF ORIGINAL PRINT features Aotearoa’s largest Print Fair celebrating contemporary print culture and community.

The Print Fair brings together over 40 vendors from across the country as well as international artists from Australia, The Philippines and the US. Meet the artists, learn about their practice, and start or expand your print collection!

Handmade prints are an affordable way to collect original art, beautify your walls and bring joy to your soul.

When: 2 May 2025, 5:30pm - 8pm | 3 & 4 May 2025, 10am – 3pm
Where: Corban Estate Arts Centre, Shed 2, Henderson, Auckland
Cost: FREE ENTRY

OPENING NIGHT

Come along to our Opening Night where you can be the first to snatch up your favourite prints at the Print Fair while enjoying a glass of wine.

Listen to À la Poupée & the Chine-Collés, live and direct from the US, performing their print themed songs, such as "Pulling Up the Paper" and "The Work Up Blues" from their hit albums Artist Proof and The Foul Bite Sessions.

Gig posters for the band will be printed live on the night as a souvenir to take home with you.

LIVE PRINTING

The Print Fair gives you the opportunity to dive in and get a little bit inky with our live printing sessions. Have a go at pulling a squeegee, rolling a brayer and inking up a plate or two. Our live printing activities are all drop-in sessions, suitable for every age and skill level.

• bring along a pre-loved item of clothing that can be screen-printed with one of our unique festival designs to give it a new lease of life with Artisan Screen Prints.
• Print and bind your own notebook using an antique letterpress machine with Inkiana Press and The Association of Book Arts.
• Design your own unique print using Lego dots with Persian Dot Press.
