Looking for something fun to do with the whānau? Come along to Rangatahi Open Mic, a lively evening where young performers share music, stories and creative work on stage.

Whānau can expect a friendly, all ages space with a mix of new and emerging artists giving it a go. Grab a cup of tea, relax and enjoy a line up of rangatahi sharing their talents in a supportive setting. This event is a great way to cheer on young creatives, discover new voices and enjoy a low key night out together. Perfect for parents, caregivers, youth groups and anyone keen to support local talent in a safe, friendly and alcohol-free environment!

“There’s not many spaces in Auckland where people come solely to listen to musicians giving it a go, beyond talent, the heart of their sharing, and courage is what makes the evening magic.” - Zak Devey, YANZ Co-Founder

This Open Mic and venue offers a great creative opportunity for youth and parents who want to be part of an all-inclusive, facilitated, alcohol-free safe environment.

This event is brought to you by Youth Arts New Zealand, Holding Space Aotearoa, & Kāhui St David’s. Funded by CNZ Creative Communities Scheme, Waitematā Local Board, and Youth Arts New Zealand.
