Reuben Simpson

"The Reuben Simpson Jazz Trio, accompanied by Ron Coleman on piano, and Craig Williams on double bass.

Originally from Tauranga, Reuben fell in love with the beautiful lyrics and melodious sounds of jazz at age 13. – He has been singing in the style of swing, jazz and rock ‘n’ roll ever since. Reuben’s repertoire largely comprises of the Great American Songbook with songs made famous by Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, and Michael Buble.

Reuben has entertained at a variety of events around New Zealand, including a live performance on TV1’s Good Morning Show. In addition to music, Reuben is also an actor having performed in theatre productions (including The Music Man, Catch Me If You Can, Annie, and Grease)."
