Saturday Laughs is a two hour comedy showcase of some top NZ and international talent, right in the heart of Petone at Abandoned Taproom.

with headline act Hayley Sproull
Co-host of The Great Kiwi Bake Off on TVNZ 2 and the host of Have You Been Paying Attention NZ. She's a regular on the Comedy Fest Gala and Great Comedy Debate, as well as a panel fave on all your classics - 7 Days, Patriot Brains, Spelling Bee et al. She is a co-host of Fletch, Vaughan and Hayley on ZM's Breakfast (she's the Hayley part) meaning she wakes up at 4am.

With a massive but hugely likeable stage presence, Hurley can win over even the toughest room. A sharp improvisational mind and well honed original material make Hurley a popular act with audiences and critics alike.
Headline act - Michele A'Court.
Winner of Female Comedian of the Decade at the NZ Comedy Guild Awards, Michele A'Court has performed in Las Vegas, San Francisco, Vancouver and at comedy festivals in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Melbourne and Adelaide. Michele's work turns up everywhere - on stage, television, radio; in newspapers and magazines - and she is in demand as a comic, an event MC, and also as a social commentator across all media. One of our country's best!

Alan McElroy is an award winning Irish comedian, living in New Zealand. He is fresh from a sold out run with The Full Irish & The Comedy Pub Crawl at Melbourne International Comedy Festival and also a regular guest on RNZ’s The Panel. He has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe, Electric Picnic & performed to sold out crowds around New Zealand with his Irish & Scottish comedy show, Booze & Craic.

Famous for taking the mickey out of politicians like Paula Bennett and Simon Bridges, as well as his parallel life as Gingerbread the cat, Tom will be plumbing the depths of our quirky culture.
