Shannon Spectacular Car & Bike Show 2025

It's the annual Shannon Spectacular Car & Bike Show! What makes this event so unique is the huge variety of motor vehicles and bikes on display. It is open to all makes & models, all periods, and all sources of motive power! There tends to be a huge turnout of car clubs meeting at the event.

Plus there will be over twenty stalls including coffee and food trucks to keep the whole family entertained and spectators & exhibitors alike fed & watered.

The are prizes for vehicle categories, spot prizes and a raffle for some amazing items donated by our awesome sponsors.

DJ Xan Angel_FK from Radio Foxton will be the MC for the show.

We will have Show Radio operating at the venue so you can tune in on 107.7FM for music, updates and entertainment. If you're rocking a classic vehicle that only sports an AM radio, bring a portable FM model with you.

This event is organised by the Shannon Progressive Association Inc. And it is a fundraiser for the organisation to facilitate projects that uplift the Shannon community. It is also one of the star events on the Horowhenua District's annual event calendar and the organisers appreciate the support from the HDC.

Show open to public from 10.00AM. However, exhibitors (vehicles & bikes) are encouraged to arrive early, from 8AM.

If the show is postponed due to poor weather conditions, the reschedule date will be Sunday Feb 23rd.
