'Subversion' explores the evolution of alternative and counterculture fashion from the 1980s to the present day. Through physical theatre, dance, and fashion, they'll tell a story that celebrates individuality, creativity, and the spirit of rebellion that has shaped the culture of Pōneke's artistic hub, Cuba Street.

'Subversion' is brought to you by Ruckus Theatre Company, a creative collective based in Pōneke dedicated to producing innovative and experimental work that shocks the status quo. Alongside them is Olivia Ferguson's fashion design brand Equilibrium, which strives to bring a playful perspective on how we value dress, and Whitecliffe Fashion School graduate Cullen Keating's label ByCullen.
