In this captivating reimagining of Cinderella, the Ash Girl must rise above her loneliness and sadness to recognise her strengths and take on the world.
Rejected by her adopted family, her world is surrounded by an ancient forest haunted by monsters of the unconscious, the seven deadly sins, and sadness, whose mission is to entrap and ruin humans.
Ashgirl's journey to wholeness starts by realising that she wants to go to Prince Amir's ball. With the help of Owl, Otter, two Mice and the Fairy in the Mirror, she is transported to the ball, where the Prince has eyes only for her. But with the coming of midnight there are dark challenges to overcome in the forest. Ashgirl's true journey lies in overcoming self-doubt and discovering her resilience.
A story of courage and the triumph of light over darkness, The Ash Girl is a celebration of empowerment and inner transformation.
