This one-hour talk will reveal the bit-by-bit emergence, over 360 years, of Man's understanding of the process of photosynthesis. It will present the many researchers and their 'Eureka moments' that drove the mission to get to the bottom of this fascinating process.

The speaker is Reg Harris, a volunteer guide [botany] at Wellington Botanic Garden.
Reg delivers botany lectures for diverse audiences, delving into plant interactions, adaptive radiation, tropisms, and more. As a dedicated volunteer guide at Wellington Botanic Garden (WBG), he pioneered collaborations between WBG and Victoria University, organizing annual field labs for biology students.
