XTERRA Rotorua Festival

Since its inception, the XTERRA Rotorua Festival has grown to become one of the best XTERRA events in the world. Each year we offer seven events for competitors to choose from and are set in and around Rotorua’s Blue Lake and Whakarewarewa Forest. It is without question amongst the most beautiful scenery in New Zealand.

A distance and activity for every adventurer. Some of the best trail running in the country, world class mountain biking and crystal clear swim. The hardest choice you have is which event you enter!

For the XTERRA Individual and Team events you have to be 14 years of age or older on race day to compete.
For the 21km event you have to be 14 years of age or older on race day to compete.
For the 5.5km and 11km events there is no age requirement, but all kids under 10 years of age, must be accompanied by an adult.
