Y-Art Open Studio - Watercolours by Therese

Come and visit Therese in her studio at home, where she uses watercolour to paint birds and landscapes, creates jewellery, and experiments with photography.

Therese is a Christchurch local watercolour artist who is passionate about New Zealand birds and landscapes. She spends much of her time painting in her studio at home, which is located at the end of a picturesque cottage garden.

As a watercolour artist, Therese uses background colour to highlight the elegance, delicacy and fragility of nature. Much of her work is with birds and landscapes, creating an atmosphere of softness and tranquility. Therese uses top-quality watercolour paper, brushes and paints, and she frames all her own work. Therese has now created pendants and earrings of her paintings and has also delved into photography. All are available for sale and EFTPOS is available.

Her studio will be open for 9 days, from Saturday 18 January to Sunday 26 January 2025, 10am to 3pm. Parking is on the street and a flag will indicate the gate to the studio at 60 Greers Road, Christchurch.
