ONEONESIX is a vibrant creative hub at the heart of Whangārei — a converted community hall that has been lovingly transformed into a dedicated performance and arts venue, breathing new life into 116A Bank Street.

Once the building of local gatherings and civic spirit, it now embraces contemporary Kiwi theatre, music, dance, and community events, offering a welcoming space for both grassroots artists and touring acts.

The main hall is a flexible black‑box theatre with a wooden floor, full-length blackout curtains, a lighting rig, PA system, and configurable seating — from cabaret‑style couches and armchairs for a relaxed, intimate vibe (capacity ~100), to formal riser‑seating for around 110.

For those seeking even more modest scale, a backroom studio and mezzanine provide ideal spaces for workshops, meetings, or smaller performances.
