The feedback from the first Menopause Cafe was unanimous - let's have more!
I have streamlined the kaupapa based on the valuable feedback I received. This is to ensure everyone leaves feeling empowered with the knowledge to take their next steps towards the menopause care and support they need. Numbers are strictly limited to ensure everyone has a chance to have their questions answered, so please book a ticket early if you are keen to attend.
I will also be focusing on how menopause and ADHD impact each other. If you’re a woman approaching your menopausal era, whose brain is playing up more than you’d expect, it’s possible that ADHD is being unmasked. It’s also highly unlikely you would have been diagnosed as a child because you’re female, so you got on with navigating your own private sh*t show and made life work. With the first hormonal fluxes of early menopause, that sh*t show might be revealing itself. Due to the relatively unrecognised burden of the impact of undiagnosed ADHD on menopause, I am extending my private practice offering to include ADHD assessments and management from Feb 1st when legislation changes come into effect and will be updating Menopause Cafe attendees on this.
Please note that the Menopause Cafe is for anyone identifying as pre, peri, or post - let's just call it Menopause!
