Still deciding what to do on New Year's Eve? You could spend the remaining daylight hours  of 2006 watching the NZ Blackcaps take on Sri Lanka in Queenstown, then head  over to Lake Hawea near Wanaka to see Shihad and The Datsuns.

Salmonella Dub and Cropduster are playing Christchurch, while Wellington has the Rhythm and Beats New Year's Eve Celebration for families and Decadance Destination for the party crowd.

The East Coast will be pumping with Rhythm and Vines 2007, RU Uawa - Uawa Rocks, Jimmy Barnes and the Hastings Official Family Celebrations.

Rotorua has the Rock the Lake Mardi Gras, Blindspott are playing the Mount and the Feelers will rock Waihi Beach.

Waiheke Island will celebrate the New Year with a Dance Party at Stonyridge and the Auckland club scene has New Yeah!, Gatecrasher, Singularity and New Years Eve 007. Around 25,000 people are expected to First Night, a family friendly event at the Aotea Centre.
