Bryan Ferry with support from Joan Armatrading is coming to play 2 concerts in Auckland and Wellington in December.
The brilliant Ferry and the sublime Armatrading are class acts through and through, with first-class bands and a catalogue of brilliant songs which have stood the test of time. To see both artists on one night is set to be one unforgettable musical feast.
Besides delivering their classic hits, both Ferry and Armatrading have new albums. Ferry’s latest continues his work as an interpreter and stylist of other composer’s songs, this time bringing a unique new dimension to Bob Dylan tracks on the album ‘Dylanesque’ (Virgin/EMI). The original idea came when he recorded his brilliant version of Dylan’s ‘A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall’ in 1973 but it took nearly 30 years to come to fruition.
