It's fair to say that Eventfinder's James and his partner Beth have been in training for the World Salsa Champs as long as it takes to have a baby (that's nine months for those of you counting).
But the final preparations are being made - and now is your chance to see what all the fuss is about with the Team Latinissimo Fundraiser this weekend.
It's just a couple weeks until the team pack their bags and head off to America to represent New Zealand in their quest to be the World Salsa Champions.
You have to have the dedication to train for the ESPN World Salsa Championships in the United States on 12 - 16 December. The team have spent up to 4 hours a day, several times a week for 9 months training hard and preparing for the competition.
However, you get a chance to have a sneaky peek at what the guys have got up their sleeves with the Team Latinissimo Farewall Fundraiser. It'll be a great afternoon with James and Beth offering a quick salsa lesson at the beginning. It'll be completely optional but will be fun and something a bit different for most of you, if you want to give it a try!
But that's not all - some of the best latin dancers in New Zealand will also be performing, including: - Instructors Giancarlo & Masha, showing off a social Bachata dance. A raffle will be held with lots of donated prizes, and time afterwards for you to try out your new skills to some music (also optional). This is not just for friends and family, but for anyone interested seeing the cream of New Zealand's best latin dancers in action before they head off to the ESPN 3rd World Salsa Championships.
So it's a time for giving - and now's your chance - send James and Beth a good luck message; either in person at the event - or below in our comments section!
