Outward Sound is pleased to announce the second round of grant recipients for 2008.

Phase Two grants, providing the opportunity for in-market performances and related business development, were awarded to The Black Seeds (to promote the release of their album Solid Ground in the UK and Europe), Kora (to promote the release of their self titled debut album in the UK), andSteriogram (to promote the release of their album This Is Not A Test Market in Germany).

Phase One in-market touring and scoping grants were awarded to Collapsing Cities (to promote themselves through a showcase tour in the UK), Scribe (to further capitalise on opportunities in the US including recording with Wyclef Jean and Trouble), Monkey Records (to attend Popkomm), Spacifix (for manager to attend GMA music fair and the band to undertake promotional activity in the UK), Lawrence Arabia (to tour UK/Europe with Feist) and Elizabeth Marvelly ( for developing new album for EMI Classics in London).
