Turbine and Adam Page: Win Tickets With Downstage Theatre

Downstage Theatre is proud to present two great pieces of upcoming theatre . . . Turbine: The SEEyD Theatre Company, and Adam Page Solo.

Turbine: The SEEyD Theatre Company discusses the controversial issue of wind farming. What happens when a company that’s doing everything it can to save the environment can’t reconcile with an already environmentally conscious family? At first the self-sufficient Gusten household is united in its opposition to erect seventy turbines in their ‘backyard’, but a family secret, erotic fiction, an autistic son, global warming and a most unlikely love story combine to crack their resolve.

Adam Page Solo is a one-man-does-all musical extravaganza with 15 instruments, one vegetable and so many possibilities! One of the best saxophonists in South Australia, and fresh from a successful run at the 2008 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Adam Page presents a hilarious interactive and improvised performance. Recommended for all ages.

Downstage has given us: two double passes to the 17 February Turbine show, and two double passes to the 19 February Adam Page show, to give away. To win a pair of tickets to the Turbine show, tell us how you feel about wind farming - good idea or bad idea? Enter you ideas into the Comments section of the Turbine event page and we'll pick the gustiest opinions to win. To win a couple of tickets to Adam Page Solo, tell us about the strangest instrument you've ever played. Enter your weird and wonderful words into the Comments section of the Adam Page event page, and we'll pick the coolest entries to win.
