The Phoenix Foundation are pleased to announce tickets to their national tour are on sale as of this morning.
Eventfinder is the exclusive online ticketing partner for the band's tour, which takes in 10 venues around the country.
Whilst Eventfinder has several ticketing deals signed already, the national tour by The Phoenix Foundation are the first events to go on sale.
"We're proud that our first public ticket sales are for a local band performing their first tour since 2007" says Michael Turner, Eventfinder CEO.
Eventfinder's ticketing service is an alternative to using Ticketek and TicketMaster, the dominant multinationals in the ticketing services business.
"It's a great fit, because we're marketing the tour through our content syndication partners as well" says Turner.
Eventfinder distributes content to the largest news and entertainment websites in the country, including Yahoo!Xtra, MSN, nzherald.co.nz and Stuff.co.nz.
Turner says that ticketing is a natural extension of Eventfinder's online marketing. "We're New Zealand's largest events website, with the strongest syndication network, and now we're looking to lead the market for online ticketing services."
