The Greatest Living Composer, Burt Bacharach, returns to New Zealand in March 2010 for two spectacular nights of entertainment, accompanied by his sublime band.
The ultra cool, cult hero who's composed over 500 songs and been in the charts for a landmark 50 years will perform on Friday, March 19, 2010 at Auckland's Vector Arena and at Christchurch's Westpac Stadium on Sunday, March 21, 2010.
Burt has written more than seventy Classic Top 40 hits with nine number ones and forty-eight top tens. Mike Myers' "Lucky Charm" has also contributed to the careers of Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand, Tom Jones, Dusty Springfield, Neil Diamond, Dionne Warwick, Aretha Franklin, Elvis Costello, Diana Krall, REM, Sheryl Crow, Gene Pitney and The Beatles.
