The new show dates for The Food Show Christchurch are 9 – 11 September 2011 at the CBS Canterbury Arena.
The show was originally scheduled for 8 – 10 April but was postponed in the wake of the 22 February earthquake.
“We’re delighted to announce that The Food Show Christchurch is going ahead and very excited to be returning to the Garden City,” says Dona White, CEO of North Port Events and organiser of The Food Shows in Christchurch, Wellington, and Auckland.
“Following the tragic events of February, we’re also very proud to play a small part in assisting the recovery effort with fundraising and support initiatives built into the new show.
“Our exhibitors recognise the importance of events like ours towards reinvigorating the city and the region, plus the opportunity it gives them to be part of a fun day out for the courageous people of Christchurch and the South Island.
