Nelson Wineart - From the Rugby Field to the Winery

Nelson Wineart is planning an exciting series of events to be held during the Rugby World Cup. Nelson Wineart is taking the competition off the rugby field and into the winery with a unique competition between aromatic wines from Italy, USA and Nelson. Each country will submit its First XV and they will be judged blind by Sam Kim (NZ), Leslie Sbrocco (USA), Riccardo Castaldi (Italy) and chaired by Ralph Kyte-Powell (Australia).

Following the competition is an exciting series of events including a degustation dinner, a new release tasting, and a tutored tasting.

Enjoy an exquisite dinner, carefully matched to the First XV Nelson Wines. Experience the finest, freshest Nelson cuisine with an Italian and American twist, prepared especially for you by the fabulous team at Petite Fleur.

The evening will be hosted by John Hawkesby, and the panel of international judges will announce the winners of the blind tasting competition.

Transport provided from Nelson if required.
