Wellington's San Francisco Bath House has announced that it will re-open on Friday 30th May (that's tomorrow!) at 4pm.
The bar had to close for refurbishment and earthquake strengthening in November 2013, a response to the council halving the venue's capacity from 500 to 250 because of safety risks. Now with reburbishments complete, the Bathhouse can get back to giving Wellingtonians what they want: mid-size concerts with one of the best mixing desks in the country.
One of the first gigs that will take place in the newly done up venue will be Sam Hunt, Riki Gooch and True Troubadours on Thursday the 12th of June, followed by Hilltop Hoods later in the month.
With Mighty Mighty closed and Puppies now in its final weeks, Wellington's live music scene thankfully still has a place to call home.
