Eagles Announce Second New Zealand Date

A second date has been added to the Eagles' visit down under.

The band is seemingly making up for lost time, and local fans clearly did not forget about them in their 20-year absence after the first concert sold out in minutes.

For a moment there was some concern that the first date might not go ahead, after the Auckland Warriors complained about their home grounds not being available over a two-week period because of the concert. Things have obviously been resolved however, as a show on Sunday 15 March 2015 has been announced.

Tickets for the new date will go on general public sale on Tuesday 1 July at noon.

After a twenty-year absence the Eagles are making up for lost time.

Following the original Mt Smart Stadium concert selling out in a matter of minutes, Frontier Touring are thrilled to confirm that negotiations for a second concert have been successful and the Eagles are set to perform a second and final concert at Mt Smart Stadium on Sunday 15 March 2015.

The Eagles are bringing their critically acclaimed ‘History of the Eagles’ World Tour to Australia and New Zealand in February/March 2015.

The legendary ‘Hotel California’ outfit will perform their career-spanning “History Of the Eagles” concerts, which sees members Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B Schmit deliver an incredible three-hour songfest of classic Eagles hits, including tracks the band had never previously performed live.

Including celebrated favourites such as ‘Desperado’, ‘Take It Easy’, ‘New Kid In Town’, ‘Lyin’ Eyes’ and ‘Take It To The Limit’, the “History Of The Eagles” global trek has already elated fans across the USA and Canada since their latest world jaunt kicked off in July 2013.

Last in New Zealand in 1995, the “History Of the Eagles” tour is a mammoth production spanning the globe – and a show for fans to remember.
