Nick Cave New Zealand Tour Sold Out

Tickets to all four Nick Cave New Zealand concerts sold out within the first hour of going on sale. No extra dates will be announced.

Nick Cave will tour Australia and New Zealand in a series of intimate solo concerts, supported by a small ensemble of musicians. Taking place in two of New Zealand's most beloved venues - Auckland's Civic and Wellington's St James - these concerts will see Cave presenting songs from his extensive back catalogue, including the Bad Seeds' 2013 release, Push the Sky Away.

The Australasian tour conicides with the release of the film 20,000 Days on Earth, which depicts a ficticious 24 hours in Cave's life and was also co-written by him. The film will be screening at this year's New Zealand International Film Festival.

Kiwis really showed their love for Nick Cave this morning when all four of his New Zealand shows sold out within minutes.

There will be no extra New Zealand performances this time round due to an intense tour schedule but if you're lucky enough to make it across the ditch, there's a been a few extra shows announced to meet the incredible demand.

Don't forget you can catch 20,000 Days On Earth at the NZ International Film Festival in anticipation for these incredible shows. The film portrays a fictionalized 24 hours in Nick's life. With startlingly frank insights and an intimate portrayal of the artistic process, the film examines what makes us who we are, and celebrates the transformative power of the creative spirit.

The film made its World Premiere at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, where it was awarded “Best Directing” and “Best Editing” Awards in the World Cinema Documentary category and was selected to open this year's Sydney Film Festival. The film is set to an original score by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis.

Also available instores now is Lice at KCRW - The fourth official live album in the band’s history features a stripped-down line-up performing classic Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds material alongside four songs from their recent global hit album ‘Push the Sky Away’.
