Kiwi blues fans can cross their fingers and hope that some of the Bluesfest acts will cross the ditch and play a show or two here. This year alone John MayerIndia.Arie, Joss StoneThe Doobie Brothers and Erykah Badu all managed to fit in New Zealand dates around their Bluesfest commitments.

Bluesfest, which will be taking place in 2015 over the weekend of Thursday 2nd April - Monday 6th April, aims to bring together a lineup of "beautifully selected choice of artists ranging from International heavyweights, National treasures to returning favourites plus some exceptional artists who will be making their Bluesfest debut in 2015."

This is the first of "many Bluesfest announcements to come". We will keep you updated as any Bluesfest artists announce New Zealand concerts.
