Hot Chocolate New Zealand Tour

Friday 12 September 2014

After a forty-year wait, British disco group Hot Chocolate are finally making their way to New Zealand for two shows.

Hot Chocolate formed in Brixton in 1969 and went on to become one of the most successful acts of the 1970's. They are the only group in the UK to have hit song for 15 consecutive years. Their biggest song, You Sexy Thing was a worldwide success upon its release, and also received a resurgence in the '90s when it was on the soundtrack for the movie The Full Monty.

In 1986 the band momentarily broke up when lead singer Errol Brown left to pursue a solo career, before three of the orginal members reunited in 1992 and have been touring with more or less the same lineup since.
