Organisers have also announced that the Dub and Roots stage has been upgraded to a massive open air stage to accommodate the strong lineup of bands due to perform. The previously-announced Shapeshifter, Six60 and Kora will be joined on the Dub and Roots stage by Katchafire, Tahuna Breaks, Tomorrow People, Sunshine Soundsystem and DJ Sir-Vere.
Reunited Wellington supergroup Bongmaster (featuring Iain Gordon, DJ Mu, Dallas Tamaira and Joe Lindsay aka Hopepa from Fat Freddy's) will headline the Red Bull Sound Lab, where Laughton and Brad Kora (L.A.B.) and Brockaflowersaurus Rex are also due to perform.
New to the festival for 2015 is the free to the public Promenade stage, which will be situated on the Wellington Waterfront just behind Te Papa.
