The kings and queen of Pacific reggae, soul and funk have been confirmed to join Jamaican reggae royalty, Jimmy Cliff, at Tauranga’s ASB Arena, Baypark on Friday 27 March 2015.
Ardijah formed in the late 70’s and over 3 decades have developed their unique ‘Poly Fonk’ style. Lead singer Betty-Anne has become one of our most respected vocal divas and the voice of much-loved hits including Watchin’ U, Moonlighting, Gimme Time, Love So Right and the #1 single, Silly Love Songs.
Another product of the late 70’s, Herbs were once described as "New Zealand's most soulful, heartfelt and consistent contemporary musical voice” and are considered the pioneers of Pacific reggae. They produced a steady stream of hits through the 80’s and into the 90’s; French Letter, Long Ago, Slice of Heaven (with Dave Dobbyn), Sensitive To A Smile, See What Love Can Do (with Annie Crummer), E Papa and many more songs that have become part of our music and political history. In 2012, Herbs became the 11th inductee into the New Zealand Music Hall of Fame.
Limited allocations of early-bird tickets only $59 + BF. Reserved seating and VIP options also available but are selling fast.
Tickets are available now through Eventfinda.
