Anastacia Cancels NZ Tour

'I'm Outta Love' pop star Anastacia has had to cancel her New Zealand tour due to logistical reasons.

The New Zealand concerts in Auckland and Wellington were to kick of her Ressurection World Tour, a welcome return after persistent health issues (including breast cancer, which she has spoken about publicly) has kept her largely out of the spotlight since the early 2000s, when she sold more than 30 million albums, thanks to a string of hits including 'I'm Outta Love' and 'Paid My Dues'.

In a statement, the promoter said "These shows cannot be rescheduled at this time. The Promoters, along with Anastacia, sincerely apologise to fans, especially as there has been so much interest in this long awaited first tour." and explained that "all avenues were explored before the decision was made to cancel."

The shows were to be the singer's first ever New Zealand performances.

All ticketholders will receive a full refund and will be contacted by Ticketek or Ticketmaster.
