Bloc Party frontman Kele Okereke has announced a one-off show in Auckland next month.
Due to perform at the King's Arms on March 21st, Kele (as he is mononymously known) is touring in support of his recently released album Trick, his second solo record.
While his band Bloc Party achieved critical and commercial acclaim thanks to their guitar-driven debut Silent Alarm, Kele's solo album The Boxer was the first indication that he was exploring his interest in dance music.
Now touring as a DJ and producer, Kele says, "Anyone who knows Bloc Party's music knows that we have always been very honest about our love of dance music."
Tickets are on sale via Under the Radar from Friday.
