Tame Impala Announces New Zealand Tour

Perth psych-rockers Tame Impala will play two shows this November, in their first headlining New Zealand tour.

They will perform in Auckland on November 24th and in Wellington the following night on November 25th.

The band is touring their third album Currents, which has been widely acclaimed by music critics. Lead by songwriter and producer Kevin Parker, Tame Impala has built a reputation for blistering live performances and their reinvention of the psychedelic-pop sound.

New Zealand Tame Impala fans would have seen the band previously at the Laneway and Big Day Out festivals.

Kody Neilson's new band Silicon will open for Tame Impala at both the Auckland and Wellington concerts.
